Stand beside her, and guide her…

On Saturday night November 21, 2009 I reached my destination in Fresno, CA.  It was a 5 hour drive from Redding so I went straight to the theater where the film “Not Evil Just Wrong” was screening.   I had already seen it twice, but I wanted to be there for the question and answer session with the film’s Producers Ann McElhinney and Phelim McAleer.

Gorebusters!

I arrived just as the film ended.  The Producer and Director Ann McElhinney and Phelim McAleer were just being introduced.  These Irish Patriots have dedicated themselves to protecting America’s freedoms by exposing eco-tyranny.

It was a very well-educated and intelligent audience.  They peppered Ann and Phelim with a variety of inquiries for over an hour about science, politics, environmentalism, and their film.

Phelim described how the false science of global warming is used to create big government regulations over everything we do.

Ann then shared some of her experiences with environmentalists and how it relates to the people of Central California.

We can do without the smelt, but if the farmers in the Central Valley are the new endangered species, our government is too powerful.

This crowd knows full well of the mistakes of excessive environmental controls imposed by the government.  When government takes over the farms with water restrictions, or other businesses with carbon restrictions, it becomes the oppressive force that we Declared our Independence from 233 years ago.

Government induced poverty.  By controlling the amount of water the government can decide who succeeds, and who fails.  They can put strangers in charge of your wells, and caps on free access.  The bureaucracy has become too big, too powerful.

An audience member pointed out that government is colluding with some businesses over others in an effort to create government entities to undermine the free market.  Policies that are banned by our constitution have become tools for the left-wing conspiracies to topple capitalism.

The situation is made worse when big government comes in and tries to solve a non-existant environmental crisis like climate change.  The Cap and Trade scam being pushed by members of Congress does not fool anyone.

As the new administration embarks on a policy of economic nonsense, huge budget deficits are created.  The mandates to switch to inefficient forms of energy production cause the taxpayers to pick up the tab for the losses created every time the wind blows.  These losses rob our children and grandchildren of funding for their education and their safety.

Responding to a question from the audience on recalls and impeachments, Ann shared her thoughts about the change in our government.

They spoke like true patriots, standing up for freedom and American ideals.  Ann even shared her thoughts about Michael Moore.

One member of the audience asked about their background; how they became involved; what is the story behind their story.  Ann was very open and forthright as she apologized for once being a liberal.  Then as she worked to help save humanity, she converted from saving the planet to saving the people.  It was time to stop preventing economic growth for the sake of a fish or a lemur.

As the discussion continued the audience questioned the value of carbon offsets.  Phelim warned that Carbon has become a means to tax everything we do.

Again the audience questioned them about the financial windfall Al Gore has made by bankrupting his fellow citizens with fraudulent environmental laws.

Just like during the American Revolution in 1776, we are joined by patriots who love freedom and the ideals our country stands for.  Ann McElhinney and Phelim McAleer have stood up for the truth and supported our freedoms.

Now as our own president travels to Copenhagen, Americans wonder if he plans to sell us out to eco-tyranny.  Any treaty based on climate change is an attempt to turn our sovereignty over to a new global government that will give us energy and water restrictions, economic controls, third world health care, and a government debt burden that will be paid with high taxes on our children and grandchildren.

Enough is enough!  This global government is not elected by our people, not answerable to our Congress or our courts, not working for our best interests.  If our own politicians can put fish above humans, imagine what foreign political leaders will do once they control us with Cap and Trade.

Tea Party Patriots carry the message across the land.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
Robert Frost – Stopping by woods on a snowy evening

Snow, sleet, and rain on a cold November day.

After leaving Ellensburg, WA the fog hung low as fellow patriot Andrew Ian Dodge drove us through the mountain pass.  His lovely wife Kim helped navigate and coordinate the meet-ups with the local organizers all across the country.  They drove all the way from Maine carrying a messenger from California all along the way.  This was as historic as Paul Revere’s ride, except this time we rode in a Ford instead of on a horse.

Tea Party Patriots spread the word, our freedoms are at stake!  We cannot be complacent anymore.  As the President heads to Copenhagen time is very short.

the winter scenery was magnificent

Rounding through the pass the pine trees were covered with a fresh layer of wet white snow.  The steep mountain slopes were covered with trees.  It was a beautiful sight as the polar ice cap descended across the North American continent just before the onset of winter.  High in the mountains the temperature was just a hair above 32 degrees, but once we came through the pass the snow turned to rain and the thermometer rose past 41.  This is nothing like my hometown near San Diego.

As we descended toward the coast the snows melted away.  A light rain fell.  The warming effect of the Pacific prevented the temperature from dropping as it had a hundred miles back in the mountains.

In short order we arrived at our next stop, McCoy’s Firehouse Bar & Grill in Seattle, just after sunset.  Andrew and Kim kept us right on schedule.    The owner, Crystal McCoy, opened her place up to the Seattle Sons & Daughters of Liberty to bring our message to Seattle.

The walls were decorated with the uniforms of Seattle’s finest.

We were given a warm welcome by all.  Tea Party Patriot, Kelli, summarized the cause.

Then we heard from local residents on their own battles with radical environmental extremism.  Steve Hammond of the Citizens’ Alliance for Property Rights defended human use of the environment.

Then Jenny Beth Martin described the national unity of the Tea Party movement and how it was banding together to stop big government.

Images of our country’s forefathers struggling to gain our Independence from European governments stood in the back of my mind as I described how the water restrictions are destroying generations of wealth, and how Cap and Trade is a threat to our sovereignty.  Then we had a great steak dinner and enjoyed marvelous conversation with dedicated Tea Party Patriots of Seattle.

The next day we continued south through the storm.  Our first stop was Chehalis where Ken Morse of the Olympia Tea Party stood before the press and described similar damage affecting Washington State as government water restrictions in the Pacific Northwest are hurting family farms.

Then we traveled south all day before resting for the night in Medford, OR.

The next morning a heavy fog hung low over us.  Visibility was so poor we decided to eat breakfast first before getting on the road.  Once the fog lifted we drove past volcanos and rivers as we crossed the mountains in Northern California.  The magnificence and beauty of this country lay before us.  I hadn’t been to this part of the state since back in the late 80’s.  Boy does time fly.  That was during the Reagan years.  Seems like such a long time ago.

By 11:30 we made it to Redding where a crowd of several hundred patriots were waiting in the Wind River Casino to hear our message.  They were a great group of freedom loving Americans who had a trailer truck full of food donations stocked up for Thanksgiving in the Central Valley.  I was presented with an official Tea Party Patriot cap for my travels and given God’s blessing for a safe trip to Fresno.  The people of this community were warm and friendly.  One man even offered to raise the bait fish on several fish farms so it could be taken off of the Endangered Species List.  Then we could get the water turned back on to our farmers and get back to making this state great again.

Redding Rocked!

The band followed us up and we headed off to Fresno.  Still a long drive ahead.

Fortunately I made it just in time for the interview with the Producers and Directors of the film “Not Evil Just Wrong,” Phelim McAleer and Ann McElhinney.  They had just received the news of the massive cover-up of the Global Warming Fraud during the past decade.  Scientific hoaxes have been the basis for some of the most restrictive environmental regulations in the history of our country.  Hopefully the news gets out before we lose our freedoms in Copenhagen.

From the mountains, to the prairies, to the oceans…

In mid November the call came in.  It was Tea Party leader Sarah Bond who needed a Patriot to join the Northern Route of the Farmers Relief Relay traveling across the country to bring awareness to the government water restrictions that are crippling the state of California.  With little hesitation I agreed to join the route and carry the message across the northwest.

Tea Party Patriot leader Jenny Beth Martin arranged for me to fly up to Spokane, WA where I joined her and two other patriots for the trek to Fresno.  As we traversed the state it became clear that the water restrictions of the Central Valley in California are similar to other extremist environmental policies that are crippling businesses and family farms across the country.

At our first stop in Ellensburg, WA we heard from Tea Party patriots who have witnessed similar oppressions against the apple industry, loggers, and small family farms throughout the northwest.

Water restriction policies spread across the country

It was an honor to receive such warm support and substantial donations to the cause, but their stories of the eco-tyranny against their apple and logging industries proved that we are fighting a widespread battle for our freedoms.  They even have their own fish story.  It is a shame when the fish story is no longer about the big one that got away, but about the little one that took down the dam.

These great Americans in Washington state stood steadfast in their support for California.  It has become abundantly clear that our government has over-extended its authority into the private lives of its citizens.

"If they can do it there in California, the food basket of the United States, they can do it to us."

At this stop, those in attendance gathered to sign the Declaration of Independence to stand up for our freedoms.  Both young and old were proud to place their name into history by joining this struggle.  They gave us great encouragement with both handshakes and prayers.  America’s greatness comes from her people.

We stand united

Jenny Beth Martin asked the crowd to contact their representatives as this is not just California’s issue.  It is everyone in America’s freedoms that are at stake as environmental extremists push laws to subvert our Independence, steal our property, and place us under the control of a global governing body with no ties to the electorate.  This relay rally went across the country from Maine to New York to Pennsylvania to Ohio to Iowa, Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho before reaching the state of Washington.

After the rally we had lunch at a local family restaurant before crossing the snowy mountain pass that leads to Seattle.  A Pacific winter storm was coming through, but we were on a mission.  Our goal was to get to Fresno by Saturday night to meet the producer and director of the film “Not Evil Just Wrong.”

Outside was clear evidence of the Global Warming Fraud

As we left and drove through the pass the words of Jim Applegate foreshadowed my meeting with Ann McElhinney and Phelim McAleer.  His words and the truth of the environmental movement is just beginning to reveal the economic destruction of the Climate Change Hoax.

California’s people call for investigations into Climate Change Hoax

On Friday, October 30, 2009 California Assemblymember Dan Logue held a hearing in San Diego in a bipartisan effort to investigate the enormous job losses in the state for the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce.  The goal was economic reform, and it became very clear that those in attendance unanimously felt that government has become the problem.  Even the members of the legislature agreed as they listened intently to the concerns of the people.

California has one of the highest unemployment rates in the nation, said Assemblymember Steve Knight, 15% in some areas, 40% in the Central Valley.  Over-regulation is killing the state’s economy and putting people into food lines.  A September 2009 study by Varshney and Associates found that the direct, indirect, and induced cost to the state from over-regulation is $493 billion.

Attending the meeting from the Legislature were Senator Denise Moreno Ducheny,  Assemblymembers Dan Logue, Joel Anderson, Martin Garrick, Diane Harkey, Steve Knight, and City of San Diego Council Member Carl DeMaio.  They listened to testimony from 2 Business panels composed of 5 members each and community citizens who have been actively involved in the Tea Party movement.

Vince Mudd, Chair of the Chamber Board of Directors, was the first to testify.  He encouraged the legislature to “streamline the permitting process” and “make California more attractive to small business.”  Carl DeMaio emphasized that 93% of the businesses in San Diego are small businesses.  While Cindy Gompper-Graves of the South County Economic Development Corporation described how the “multiple layers of permits and fees were big rocks in the road to success” as regulations and fees hurt small businesses.

Scott Molloy of the Building Industry Association described how his 4th generation business was in jeopardy and the effects are so catastrophic that his father, grandfather, and great-grandfather were “rolling over in their graves” as the family enterprises are driven out-of-state or out of business.  This echoed the same concerns of the farmers in the Central Valley as government mandated droughts are wiping out generations of wealth.

Another 3rd generation machine shop owner, Dale Watkins of Sheffield Platers, Inc. told the Legislative Panel that he had to fill out 3 different forms for 3 different agencies and some type of streamlining was in order.  He was followed by Roy Hobbs, representing the San Diego Port Tenants Association, who said the unfriendly regulatory environment has caused chaos in the recreational boating industry.

Assemblymembers Diane Harkey and Dan Logue described how they went to Nevada to interview businesses that left California and asked them what were the specific reasons for their departure.  “Regulatory abuse” was the most common response according to Diane.  Now with AB 32 and CARB regulations sucking generations of wealth out of California’s small businesses the lawmakers in Nevada, Arizona, and Texas just smile and encourage the progressives in California’s Legislature to just keep doing what they are doing.

Ironically even the Assemblymembers were dismayed at the process as some of them had to leave early so they could fly to Sacramento and check in for a Monday session.  Each of them will then fly back to their districts for the weekend.  They are not allowed to check in electronically or by some other 21st century method.  They were following a regulatory procedure over the legislative process that requires them to unnecessarily spend taxpayer dollars on wasteful, inefficient, time-consuming travel that puts stress on them and their families.  They were all very disenchanted with this requirement.

Before leaving Assemblyman Martin Garrick noted “we aren’t going to get out of this by taxing and spending.”  He recommended that bills and projects should be allowed to conduct Economic Impact Studies to go along with any Environmental Impact Studies.  A very good idea considering no one even thought of doing an Economic Impact Study on AB 32.

Michael McLaughlin of the California Restaurant Association expressed concerns about water, unnecessary meal and rest breaks, and the ways he was able to self insure his business to achieve substantial reductions in worker’s comp costs.  He was followed by John Kabateck of the National Federation of Independent Businesses and Ann Kinner, a professional mariner and owner of Seabreeze Books and Charts, who shared their concerns about the anti-business policies that were harming all segments of our economy.

The testimony then wrapped up with Bryan Bloom of Priority Moving, Inc. who asked the Assemblymembers why he was being forced to spend over $1 million to upgrade his fleet of vehicles to comply with CARB regulations, and Mark Winiarz of Metrix, Inc. who described how there was more money in saving energy than in producing renewable energy.

Assemblyman Logue expressed concern that some of the majority in the legislature do not care as they have never owned or operated any type of business.  Then he recognized Tea Party Patriots Larry Naritelli and Charles Fettinger.

Larry pointed out that the economic damage is being caused when the legislature makes laws that are based on the Global Warming Fraud and Climate Change Hoax.  “If you base laws on frauds and hoaxes you will create great damage to our economy that will wipe out generations of wealth across the state.  They better care about what they are doing, because the people are not going to allow them to get away with destroying our jobs and taking away our freedoms.”

Larry also warned about the economic dangers of alternative energy that costs 20 times more than fossil fuels.  “Solar energy just adds high cost, inefficient energy to the grid.  It causes electric rates to skyrocket by limiting supplies of electricity.”

Senator Ducheny pointed out that San Diego just received  hundreds of millions of stimulus funds for solar projects.  These systems produce miniscule amounts of energy compared to the same investment in more reliable sources of electricity production and saddle the taxpayers with mountains of debt.

Charles then encouraged the legislators to bring liberals and conservatives together to stop the progressives who are working against the interests of our economy.  It was a clear indication that there is a bipartisan approach that appeals to both liberals and conservatives.  It is being opposed by progressives who are working for foreign interests.

Assemblymember Harkey agreed and assured Larry and Charles that the message of the Tea Parties was being heard by all members of the legislature.  They do not want to be known as the ones who destroyed the California economy.

While it may be too late for that, it is not too late to stop the destruction and rebuild our economy.  AB 32 must be repealed and the California Air Resources Board must be investigated.  Any and all laws based on Climate Change are damaging our people and our freedoms.  Those responsible for the Global Warming Fraud must be held accountable for the damage they have caused.

Environmental organizations who use false science and foreign propaganda to justify regulations that drive our businesses out-of-state or overseas need to be put under the microscope.  They are not friendly to the environment when they turn our farmland into desert, or mandate inefficient sources of energy.

By the end of the meeting it was clear that there are those in our government who are working for the people, but they are frustrated by those in government who are working against the people.  It is time for us to clearly identify those who are enemies of the people.

We cannot be complacent anymore.  All were in agreement on this.  “The state doesn’t create wealth, people do!” exclaimed Dan Logue.

California must become business friendly and soon, as the drain on personal wealth is occurring at a rapid rate.  There can no longer be any delays.  The quickest way to create jobs is to restore the water supplies to the farmers.  Follow that up with a repeal of AB 32 (Cap and Trade), and reduce tax rates across the board.   Encourage the use of efficient fuel sources like diesel, and increase our access to offshore oil supplies.

By producing electricity with low cost fossil fuels we can increase the supply and lower the cost of everyone’s electric bill.  Turning on the pumps that fill the reservoirs when it rains will stabilize and increase our water supplies, lowering the cost for all.  These pro-growth strategies do not need trillions of dollars of stimulus money.  They just need common sense and the political will to stand up to the eco-tyranny policies of totalitarian progressives.

We can balance the budget and solve all of our economic woes here and now by rejecting the nonsense of socialist government controls masquerading as environmental extremism.  Free markets create wealth and a clean environment.  Big bureaucracy bankrupts business.

Assemblymember Joel Anderson summed it up.  “It is time to get California working again.”  All of the legislators left with a renewed vigor to carry the message of the people back to Sacramento with them.

“Not Evil, Just Wrong” – exposing eco-tyranny

Protesting eco-tyranny and big government

Protesting eco-tyranny and big government

On Sunday October 18, 2009 the film “Not Evil, Just Wrong” premiered in town halls around the world. Shunned by Hollywood’s studios, it was distributed by patriots determined to expose the environmentalist war against the human race.

This film is a brilliant contrast to Al Gore’s movie “The Inconvenient Truth.” Exposing the flaws of Mr. Gore’s pseudo science, it depicts an emotional look at the total economic devastation of the Global Warming/Climate Change Hoax along with other misguided extremist policies of the environmental movement.

The most telling of which are the bans against DDT which have allowed malaria to spread across Africa and other Third World nations. Environmental extremists are depicted defending this policy to save birds while untold millions die from malaria.

The film shows heavy spraying of DDT across the US in the 1940’s and 50’s. Swimming pools full of children are being covered in clouds of DDT. There was no mention of any after effects and the scenes are represented to be from film archives of the actual sprayings.

In the 1960’s DDT was blamed for endangering the bald eagle, the National bird of the United States. Since the ban in 1972 the bald eagle has recovered and is no longer endangered, so the debate on DDT continues and people are still dying of malaria around the world.

Of course we have also had the Clean Air Acts which have removed most toxic pollutants from the atmosphere and designated Carbon Dioxide as the clean air. Removal of these toxins also helped the eagles to thrive.

In fact the United States has the cleanest air of any industrialized country. By only venting greenhouse gases we keep our atmosphere clean. Both Carbon Dioxide and water vapor are the major emissions from our power plants and industries. So what is the real reason for Cap and Trade? The negative economic effects are catastrophic.

The people have awakened.

The people have awakened.

This was depicted by following a young family whose future is tied to the coal industry. It was an emotional journey as the young mother tried to appeal to the architect of this fraud, Nobel Prize winner Al Gore. She left her very humble dwelling and drove to Mr. Gore’s mansion with a hand written letter to the Academy Award winner who is actively trying to eliminate her husband’s job.

The parallels to the people in California’s Central Valley were quite eerie. As California suffers 40% unemployment at the hands of corrupt politicians who use the Endangered Species Act to destroy family farms and jobs across the state, the environmental movement is determined to wipe out generations of wealth and turn productive farm land into desert.

Challenging the premise that carbon dioxide is pollution, or that greenhouse gases are bad, or that a warming climate is negative at all, the film presents multiple scholars and academics who completely debunk Mr. Gore’s assertions. In fact it becomes quite clear that the Climate Change Hoax is a cover for total global governance.

As the evidence mounted there was a human focus as the director went right into America’s heartland to show real people who will be affected by the job losses and unemployment caused by the policies of Cap and Trade. This was juxtaposed with interviews of so-called environmentally conscious individuals at a convention who tried to make the case that humans and overpopulation are the greatest threat to our environment.

How they intend to deal with overpopulation is the question. By banning the use of chlorine to purify our water. Impose regulations to protect animals and insects while humans are sent into poverty. Use the government to create food and water shortages worldwide. Eco-tyranny is real, it is happening here, it is happening now.

The real danger to our society is from environmental organizations who rely on propaganda and deceptions to create a global government that controls all economic activity.  They are no different from the progressive groups that used eugenics to justify their efforts to create a master race in Europe during the first half of the last century.  Those policies led to genocide unprecedented in human history.

Contrary to the claims of Al Gore’s minions that global warming deniers are just like holocaust deniers.  They are actually warning us of history repeating itself.  Environmentalists are creating a new holocaust with malaria, cholera, and famine.

This film is a must see.

Tea pot boiling! Needs more water.

Government is the problem.

Government is the problem.

On Saturday October 17, 2009 Tea Party patriots from San Diego gathered to speak out and protest the policies of the Federal government that are wiping out families and businesses across the state.  The people are fighting back against the anti-capitalist forces of the Obama Administration and the Pelosi Congress that are being used to seize land and property from individuals and families.

Today’s rally was attended by 300 to 400 voters from all political parties.  This was just one of multiple tea parties held today throughout California to bring attention to the water restrictions that have deprived the people of their freedoms and their rights.  Like their historic ancestors, these patriots stood down by the docks, raised the flag, and spoke to preserve our freedoms.  There was no doubt that the crowd was flag waving, honest, hard working Americans who are opposed to the big government, progressives that are selling us out to foreign interests.

The event kicked off with a surprise sketch by an impersonator of SNL’s Tina Fey.  She mocked the big media elite who slobbered over a really inexperienced President who is keeping the water away from our farmers and intentionally damaging our economy.  A President who is adopting policies to eliminate profits and profitable corporations so that government can use the banks to take over everything.

No where are the President’s misguided policies having a greater negative effect than in the agricultural community of our country’s heartland in Central California.  Here the people are dealing with ridiculous environmental controls over their water that are depressing real estate values, driving up energy costs, creating shortages, and increasing deficits.  It is clear that the Federal Government is causing unnecessary financial damage to the people of California.

The Endangered Species Act is the basis for this excessive government control as environmental organizations wage a full on assault on the human race.  The water, the dams, and the irrigation systems belong to the people of California not the fish.  These aqueducts, canals, and storage spaces were built with our tax dollars and the tax dollars of our ancestors for our benefit.  The farmers are making the land green, while the environmentalists are turning it brown.

Indeed they are not only using the ESA to destroy our land, but also pollute our streams.  They try to cover their acts with the claims of false disasters, like Global Warming and Climate Change, that only exist in Hollywood movies.  These false science hoaxes are then used to justify high taxes, caps on energy production, and oppressive policies like turning the water off.

If anyone thinks health care should be in the hands of government, make sure you are certain that government will do no harm.  Make that judgement by listening to the people of California.  As Ronald Reagan said “government is not the solution to our problems, government is the problem.”

Everything Ronald Reagan warned us about is happening right before our eyes.

In the case of the Central Valley and the California water wars, government is more than a problem.  Government has overstepped its authority when it turned off the pumps that fill California’s reservoirs.  The government has put the people in great danger and created water shortages throughout the state.  These shortages are causing double digit inflation in water prices and a complete destruction of 25% of our nation’s food supply.

Eye witness accounts of the complete devastation were presented by California’s people.  It was an honor for me to speak first about the use of the Delta Smelt ruling to drain the San Joaquin reservoir which created this drought.

Once the farms are forced into bankruptcy the foreign interests will come in and buy up all of our valuable farm land.  The politicians who have betrayed their people must be held accountable for this scheme to strip Americans of their wealth and freedoms.  We need to question the merits of any ESA or Cap and Trade laws that are based only on false science.

Kay O’Hara, a realtor from North San Diego County, spoke next about the effect on real estate here in Southern California as the water restrictions force farmers to destroy their crops in the avocado groves.  This was also described to me when I visited the Central Valley by Jeremy Freitas.  The leaders of our agricultural community throughout the state are affected as the agribusinesses are the backbone of our economy.

Next to speak was Dawn Wildman.  Dawn has led the California Tea Party movement which is completely grass roots without any type of funding from the big political parties.  She spoke about the effort to repeal AB32, California’s Cap and Trade economic restrictions, and she also announced the Protection of Employee Earnings Initiative.  This initiative, when passed, will make it illegal for public employee unions to use member earnings for political reasons.  Following is a summary of the text:

It will be unlawful to deduct from the wages, or earnings, of any public employee, any amount used for political purposes.

The measure does not prohibit public employees from making donations for political activities, provided those donations are not deducted from the employees’ pay.

So there is a lot of news from this Tea Party.  The Feds are draining our reservoirs and not allowing above ground water storage to be replenished, while using the water restrictions to bankrupt multi-generational farms.  A grassroots organized effort to repeal Cap and Trade is spreading.  The Protection of Employee Earnings Initiative was announced.  Although these were extremely newsworthy events, there was little coverage by the mainstream media.

The Tea Party movement is a real force to be reckoned with and cannot be ignored by the political parties any longer.  The people are in an all out revolt against the big government corruption.  It is very clear among the people that their freedoms and rights are being taken away by a government using false science and misleading propaganda.

Next Sarah Bond warned us of the effort by the government to take away our right to recreational fishing and new taxes on big screen televisions.  Recreational fishing is not harming our environment.  New restrictions on  TV’s will drive up prices even more into a hyper-inflationary environment.  This government is now spiraling out of control as it knows it can get away with anything if it is successful in keeping the water supplies turned off.

The highlight of the day was a brief reminder of the historical importance of our Tea Parties, today’s dates in history, and the transcendence of American patriots from the days of 1776 to today.  It was a truly emotional moment of pride to be one of those who spoke up in our fight to stay free.  From Boston to San Diego we are all proud to be Americans.  Marc Moniz-Stockwell, a Bostonian who is a direct descendant of Revolutionary War heros, shared his historical knowledge with us.

We have learned the lesson of our ancestors.  We will teach our children how to be free.  We will stand up to an overbearing government that takes away our freedoms.  We were raised on Reagan and we honor him today as he reminded us how important our history is to our freedoms.

We need to know our history.  We know who we are.  It became clear that those in attendance on Saturday were well informed.   They knew about the efforts by the UN to impose global controls over the United States.  Laws written outside of our country by those unaccountable to our people cannot be imposed on us without violating our Constitution.  Our national security is being threatened along with our food supply.

Finally, the Tea Party ended with an emotional appeal by Dawn Wildman who described the food lines that were created in the Central Valley by the eco-tyranny policies of our government.

How is this happening in America?  In the land of Ronald Reagan?  Who is to blame for this?

Unfortunately it is we the people who have let our guards down.  Complacency is very dangerous in this world.  We have to stand up together.  We can reverse the damage.  We can provide water for all.  We have to stand united against a government run amok, a government that is now waging economic war on its own people.  We will be complacent no more.

Obama’s oligarchical oppression – no water, lots of pollution

On Thursday, October 15, 2009 President Obama went to San Francisco for a fund raiser where he accepted upwards of $2 million from the elitist of the elite environmental extremists for his efforts to keep the water away from not just California’s farmers, but everyone in the state.  By using his Secretary of the Interior, Ken Salazar, as the merchant of drought, Obama hopes to avoid blame for the catastrophic devastation his policies have wrought on the state of California.  The shortages that are being created of our most basic necessity are driving up water rates for everyone who lives here.

Even now the federal government is seizing more control over all of California’s water supplies and diverting them away from farms and people.  They claim that they are trying to restore the San Joaquin Delta’s eco-system, but in reality they are pumping pollution into the rivers and the estuaries.  Each day up to one billion gallons of partially treated sewage is dumped into the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta and its associated waterways.

water can grow crops too!

water can grow crops too!

The high levels of amonia just from Sacramento are enough to keep the salmon away.  Sacramento adds 125,000 gallons of amonia per month to the Delta, far more than any other source.  If you want to see what happens to fish in water with high levels of amonia just set up a fish tank without a filter.  Your fish will be dead in a week from swimming in their own waste.  But it is easily treated with a simple CARBON filter.  Yes carbon, no element is more essential to life than carbon.  It is the structural basis for many compounds that comprise the living cell.

So instead of cleaning up their sewage the politicians in Sacramento swim in it by passing laws to divert water away from the farmers and the people.  They say they are protecting the environment when they are actually polluting it and placing the people in great danger by refusing to keep adequate above ground storage.  Enormous amounts of runoff flow out to the sea when it could be captured for irrigation.

Efficiently capturing carbon for human energy with water and sunlight

Efficiently capturing carbon for human energy with water and sunlight

It is true that rainfall has been less than average for the past three years, but not that much so.  The real reason for the drought is the shut down of the pumps that fill the reservoirs during the rainy season, and the draining of existing storage to flush sewage out to sea.  These measures have created a monumental disaster to the environment and the economy of the state and the nation.

President Obama callously showed his ability to ignore the truth by flying over the affected areas without one thought of recognition.  He shows no signs of easing up on the water restrictions that are turning California from a green state into a brown one.

Green no more

Green no more

The human toll is astounding.  The children and grand children of multi-generational family farms are being squeezed out of business by a government that is in the pockets of organizations dedicated to eco-tyranny.  These groups will do everything they can to blame farms far upstream from the real cause of danger to the fish.  Farms that create jobs and wealth throughout the state.  Environmental organizations are engaged in a relentless push to overturn 100 years of progress that made California the most productive farm land in the world.

The farms are a source of wealth and pride for this state.  It takes hard work and dedication to work the land.  Give us our water back, we paid for those dams and aquaducts with our own sweat and tears.

Jeremy Freitas of Freitas farms shared some of his family’s history with me on my last visit to the Central Valley.  All of the people of central California have strong family bonds that pass down their tribal knowledge of farming from generation to generation.  These great Americans have sacrified all of their lives to make our country great and strong.  They are now under attack by a President determined to bankrupt them with water restrictions as his government works to undermine our economy and our environment.

These farmers deserve our admiration and respect for they are the backbone of this state.  The efforts of the Federal government to eliminate their water supplies under the guise of conservation is nothing more than a huge land grab by an oppressive oligarchy that is working for foreign interests.  By reducing water allocations to 10% the government has cut off the financial ability for these farms to survive for water is money, water is jobs, water is life.

Without the ability to produce a crop the land values plunge, depressing real estate prices across the state.  This collapse spread through the banking system and was a contributor to the entire financial crisis.

Everyone across the country is feeling the effects of this oppression.  The President is directing his wrath against America’s greatest citizens as his punitive punishments affect families of all races and all income levels.  The food lines increase every week and so do the budget deficits.

As his arrogance blinds him to his own incompetence, the President now offers tax increases as the solution.  Turn the water on you foolish man.  You are hurting America’s people as well as its fish.  Your policies have harmed multiple generations.  Do you have a heart at all?  Why do you use the Endangered Species Act to justify this tyranny?  We the people see through you and your party.  The water restrictions are your albatross.  Stop harming these innocent hard working families.

When I first met Jeremy Freitas last summer he was with his dad, Joe, at a meeting with some of the other great people in the Central Valley who are united in this fight against the government.  Joe is a Vietnam Veteran who served his country in the Southeast Asian war of the last century.  While we talked about the current government oppression, Mr. Freitas, Joe, broke down.  The tears welled up and he began to cry as he remembered the men he fought with and watched die for our country and our flag.  He knows what it is like to be on the front lines of a war.  Jeremy spoke with great respect when he shared the story of his father’s service to our country.

Emotions run high with America’s veterans; they see what is happening to our country.  Our flag stands for freedom, but President Obama is trying to change that with his policy of water tyranny.

Cutting off water is an act of war and has been since the dawn of mankind.  Barak Obama you are not Caesar.  We do not have an emperor, we only have a president.  Stop waging war against us with your environmental police.

At first the blame was placed solely on President Bush, who was foolish to believe in anything that came out of the Pelosi House, but once in office President Obama intensified the oppression, seized more water, and eliminated the ability of the farmers to fund their operations.  Bank’s won’t lend to a farmer who has no water because dust is not a cash crop.

This is not Bush’s disaster as he kept environmental extremists at bay; it is a direct effort on the part of Speaker Pelosi, President Obama, and the entire progressive movement to undermine our Constitution.  This is the reason they have created the Global Warming Fraud and Climate Change Hoax, to steal our land and our freedoms.  They will use the EPA to bypass Congress and crush free markets as they work for the enemies of our country.  Those who attack capitalism and profits are enemies of the American people.

We are now at the mercy of a compassionless President determined to change our way of life from one of a dedicated and productive work ethic to one that is completely dependent on government control.  The President’s policies push everyone into poverty as he wipes out the wealth of our nation while increasing pollution in our rivers and streams.

In the last 3 years, as more water has been diverted away from the farms and reservoirs, the salmon runs have declined.  Rather than address the cause of the problem the government breaks water contracts with the family farms that have paid for the irrigation systems with decades of tax revenues and hard work.  This intentional negligence has a purpose and it is not to enhance freedom and prosperity.

The water now stored in dams and reservoirs for the farmers is being washed out to sea without deriving any economic or environmental benefit from the process.  If that water was given to the farmers, we would have lower unemployment, lower tax rates, lower deficits, higher real estate values, and a much stronger economy.

Efficient methods to utilize every drop of water

Efficient methods to utilize every drop of water

This is common sense that seems to have eluded the politicians who work for the Obama Oligarchy.  They cut off the water out of ignorance or arrogance.  If it is the former they are unfit for office; if it is the latter they are bordering on treason.

It even gets much worse as the reduction in fresh water supplies cause increases in energy usage.  The water conservation measures force farmers to pump wells with electricity and diesel.  None of the negative effects of the environmental nonsense were considered by the President and his cronies when they instituted the restrictions recommended by anti-American interest groups out to damage our economy.

As Jeremy described the government’s policies to increase costs and energy usage, we drove past miles of fallow ground.  The stark barren landscape was once a beautiful and bountiful field of green crops that absorbed greenhouse gases, reduced dusty air pollution, and generated economic benefits for everyone in the state.  Water is available for all of these fields, but eco-tyrants work with a corrupt Federal and State legislature to keep the pumps and irrigation systems turned off with draconian water restrictions unheard of in American history.

So the result of this catastrophic policy is a state plunging into bankruptcy.  High deficits go higher.  Reservoirs go lower.  Unemployment goes up.  Prosperity goes down.  You cannot deny the damage you are inflicting anymore Mr. President.  The devastation lays at your door.  Your hands are unclean.  Get your head out of the clouds.  You are the cause and so is your party.

Eastside above ground storage

Now that the westside of the Central Valley has been laid waste, the administration is working closely with members of his party who want to dry up the eastside by releasing more valuable water resources from the Friant Dam.  The excuse is to restore rivers that have not existed for decades; the reality is they want to send more untreated sewage into the San Joaquin Delta.

How much longer will the people of California have to put up with this nonsense?  The restrictions are being imposed by the Feds, and the Democrats in Congress continuously vote with Pelosi and Feinstein to destroy California’s families by restricting water to selected areas.  They pick and choose their victims arrogantly determining who gets water and who doesn’t.  So far they have voted to mix it with sewage and pump it into the Delta when they should have voted to grow food and clothes for the world.

Do you want these people in charge of your health care?  If they can cut off your water they can cut off your doctor.

It is time to stand up to this eco-tyranny.  It is time to stand up and save our country.
